Norcia is a small town located at the foot of the Umbria-Marche Apennines, on the border between Umbria and Marche, in the green heart of Italy, the Valnerina, a magnificent valley that follows the course of the Nera River from Narni to Visso.
It is immersed in the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains, which protects the homonymous mountain range extending between the regions of Marche and Umbria, divided into four provinces: Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata and Perugia.

In winter, in the last two weekends of February and the first of March
“Nero Norcia”, an agri-food review that promotes and enhances the typical food and wine and artisan productions in which it is possible to taste the prized black truffle of Norcia, cheeses and cured meats typical of our territory as well as other specialties from all over Italy.
In spring, March 20 and 21
“San Benedetto”, celebrations in honor of the patron saint of Europe, born here in the fifth century. The festival is characterized by the “Pro Europa Una” torchlight procession, a symbol of the spread of Benedictine monasticism in the ancient continent, which each year leaves from a different European city, arriving in Norcia on the evening of March 20. On 21 March the “historical procession” and the “offering of the pallium” take place, to evoke the majestic ceremonies that in the past the town dedicated to its patron saint.
In summer, from June to September
“Estate Nursina”, which includes a rich program of events made up of music, excursions, games, events and shows for adults and children.
